Alberta Waste and Recycling:
- Costs less than the landfill.

Construction Waste Recycling Depots

Our depots are set up to handle recyclable construction and demolition waste. They provide contractors, builders and haulers with a cost-effective, well-managed, environmentally sustainable waste and recycling solution. Our outcomes exceed the province of Alberta’s proposed C&D program waste diversion criteria. The depot’s waste diversion rates will meet or exceed LEED requirements and will capture both Waste Management credits and potentially a third point for innovation. A successful waste management and recycling program will also result in cost savings in garbage tipping fees.

Transfer Site Operations

Transfer Site Operations. We currently operate four residential Waste and Recycling Transfer sites. One for the City of Airdrie and the others in Bragg Creek, Langdon and Irricana for the Rocky View County.

Chuck Wagons

Alberta Waste and Recycling Limited operate a mobile residential recycling service for the Rocky View County in Elbow Valley, Cochrane Lakes, Springhill, Madden, Keoma and Bearspaw. We are working with the solid waste and recycling section of the County to assist them “to ensure that every household in the County has convenient access to easy, environmentally responsible, cost effective, community supported and appealing way of reducing, reusing, recycling and disposing their household solid waste.”

Special Events Recycling Trailer

We work with a number of local Calgary area communities to provide a Special Events Recycling Trailer for their annual Recycling Days. Our trailer and attendants have worked with local community associations in Elbow Valley, Mahogany, Copperfield, Parkland and the Parkland SummerFest.

Alberta Waste and Recycling also provides annual recycling services for the Rocky View County's Agricultural Roundups. In 2012 we recycled twine, wire, pesticide containers, ag plastics, e-waste, HHW, tires and paint at Scott Lake, Jumping Pound, Springbank, Balzac, Weedon, Bottrel, Madden and Delacour.
